Dietz Property Group is seeking an experienced detail-oriented professional to become a part-time (30 hrs/wk with full benefits) Leasing Consultant with us at our premier apartment community in Marysville, OH. Candidates must possess a minimum of 1-year experience in a professional role (with some successful experience in a sales or face-to-face customer service role), and be able to perform the necessary requirements outlined below to be considered for this position.

The specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following: 
• Make and take phone calls with prospective customers and residents, describing the communities features, benefits and value 
• Perform sales presentations and tours to prospective customers – must be able to identify and sell to the potential customer’s needs 
• Submit and monitor advertising and media used to generate leasing leads 
• Accurately prepare & process required screenings and paperwork for applicants, new residents and residents renewing their lease 
• Be able to create, implement and participate in resident social activities 
• Provide quality, professional service to prospective residents, current residents, team members and vendors 

Ideal candidates must have:
The natural ability to express positive enthusiasm and demonstrate a high degree of written and verbal communication skills. 
Communication skills must also be focused on maintaining an exceptional relationship with prospective residents, current residents and team members. 
Selling skills are required to effectively lease apartments. 
Organization skills are required to maintain a professional office and work space. 
Computer experience is required with Word, & Excel. Publisher & Outlook preferred. 
Previous property management experience is great but not required. 
Our Leasing Consultants work flexible schedules. Candidates must be willing to work weekends and very occasional evening hours (for special events).
